  1. Yeah you figured this was coming at some point to some player. Doesn't surprise me they dropped the full season hammer. This is where I don’t like the NFL police. It’s all well and fine to give him a 1 year suspension, not gonna argue that. But what’s insane to me is he gets a year for gambling but guys like Kareem Hunt gets 8 games for beating a woman. How on earth is gambling a longer offense?
  2. Well, Atleast Yelich per game salary will be lower.
  3. $50+ mil a year for Sir Master Rodgers. Sheesh. I know that’s the going rate but that’s a lot. Ken Ingles the cap guru says if that’s true his lowest cap hit would be $35 mil with $75 mil signing bonus. Back to Back MVPs meaning backing up the brinks.
  4. Looks like Rodgers may be confirming something early….
  5. This hasn't happened. Pretty sure Ken Ingalls is simply speculating on what cost-savings moves they could make. Good catch! Somehow I read it as fact…rookie move.
  6. Packers sign Kevin King to a 1 year league min contract. Oddly enough saving them $1.2 mil if they would have let him walk.
  7. He’s due $15 mil of his $20 mil 2021 signing bonus on Feb 4th. That may have something to do with it?
  8. Person I think could be a sneaky good pick up is Rico Gafford. Guy can fly and take MVS spot. With that, I would see if this is possible. Broncos get Aaron Rodgers 2022 4th 2023 5th Packers get Patrick Surtain Noah Fant 2022 1st 2022 2nd 2023 1st Alexander, stokes and Surtain would be fun. Noah fant could replace tonyan. Decent player when healthy. I’m in the camp of moving on from Rodgers. Not because of talent, but just time to move on. Much like it was with Favre. Tricky part is draft is in April and the best trade for cap reasons would be after June 1.
  9. Moore not activated. Likely means Cobb or Sullivan on returns.
  10. Kyle Seager announcing his retirement.
  11. Dolphins have had a 7 game winning streak and 7 game losing streak this season. Rather impressive.
  12. Taking it a step further. There are maybe 2 guys that posted ops of 850 or up that could be acquired. And even that wouldn’t be easy to do. Obviously prospects are just that, prospects (Yelich trade as example). However, sometimes those prospects turn into the best pitching this organization has ever seen. I understand the desire to have a big thumper in the middle, I’d love it. But be cautious with the cost and consequences. Even aquiring a legit bat doesn’t guarantee that they will keep mashing. Trust the process. Pitching and defense baby! Plus, Tellez, Renfroe and Yelich will hit 100+ homers the 3 of them. That’s some good thump!
  13. Hi, I’m Hunter Renfroe and I hit dingers! Excited to see him hit 40 for us this year!
  14. A -1 war player owed $34 mil guaranteed the next 2 years, plus a $4 mil buyout…that is just absurd to even consider it. Urias is younger, healthier, cheaper, better, etc. just roll with him unless there is an actual upgrade.
  15. Seriously? I can see how a large market fan base "might" be able to reason it that way, but a small market fan? How high can your payroll be before you hit that luxury tax? 200 million, 250 million, meanwhile, teams like us sit at 100 million... To clarify, I meant that the “MLB” or their office or wherever the fine money goes to benefits. As in more money for there purposes, whatever those are. Manfred gets more money to waste. I should’ve been more specific. That was my reasoning on why it is beneficial compared to just a cap.
