I don't trust Lauer, but I can't give a reasonable stats-based explanation. Or any explanation, really. He's pitching exceptionally well for the 4-5 guy, so I'd definitely say he deserves a shot.

Well, Fried at least looks hittable, but the Brewers are getting under everything. It's hard to be confident in the offense, but I feel like they're going to break through. A couple of bad calls didn't help matters.

I really like the way the Brewers are set up for this series pitching wise. Getting Game 1 was huge. I know the Braves technically take back home field if they hold on today, but I think our pitching depth nullifies that somewhat.

 

Still feel way better 2-0 of course.
