Uecker saying Wainwright has earned that strike three call to Urias. SMH

I love Ueck but that is silly

If it is not a strike it is a ball

You don’t earn a call because you are older

Hey gents, my wedding is over. My over-posting has returned. I see McClutcheon just gave us the lead again? Nooooice!

Over the last 14 days,  (NOT counting tonight), McCutchen had an .810 OPS.  It would be nice if he'd either hit a nice little hot streak, or even better, just put up a nice .750 or so OPS for the rest of the season.  I'm not about to hold my breath, but he hasn't been bad lately.

I've been holding my breath since early April. It takes a lot of stamina but I'm prepared. I have 02 tanks. Let's do it, Andrew! My tent is parked at the base of this mountain.

I had MLB tv on all day today.  Mad Dog, pretty sure but could've been someone else since I wasn't 100% paying attention, basically went on a tangent on how the ASG needs to get a way to have all 3 of the retiring Cards in it.  Like they're all all-time greats or something, then got into something about rare it is for 3 HOF or near HOF guys to be on the same team retiring together and that's why.    I mean, if it was in STL of course, but it's not.   I can understand Pujols being given the last spot in a send off type of way, he's a legit all time great (though he's being a bit ignored because he's hung on too long), but beyond that gimme a break.

really bad timing for Lauer and houser to keep getting lit up.

Counsell should've been happy getting five out of Lauer. That was predictable.

Both stars with good contact vs him in the game already too.   The old 3rd time through the lineup issue.  Fresh pen tonight, yea I could see the argument to go to the pen early and get this win locked in

I’m still pissed that the Cardinals got Arenado for nothing. When they got Goldschmidt I was upset too, as I was hoping the Brewers were going to trade for him. But God loves the Cardinals so we’re have to get beat by them instead.

Lauer and houser ERA are what old timers use to call ballooning

In the early Hader days this would have been three innings of Hader ade followed by one inning of Knebel.
