Small could walk As many as Houser so why not try him. This team at best is 500 but should not be in the playoffs. Maybe Mark can join his team at whoever is pitching tonight

I’m squarely in the camp of the only way we sniff that last wild card spot is calling up Frelick, Ruiz, maybe a Turang. Let’s see what the kids can do. Gotta be better than watching Taylor K all day. And Huira needs to be every day the rest of the way - let it rip tater chip

I'm down with that. Time to shake things up.

Thats all I can stomach for tonight.

An old X-Files rerun is more entertaining.

The truth is out there

Just the speed , contact, and excitement alone should get us a few wins against the schedule the rest the way

At this point I'm just watching to see if the Brewers pitch a position player before the 8th.

Welp, my friends, father, and father-in-law told me a couple weeks ago that it’s over for this team. I kept making excuses saying they can make it in and make miracles. I’m done. This team is trash. Onto watching the Packers get the bye and losing at Lambeau. Yeesh.

I love to see position players pitch. I mean, it's awesome. Like watching a dog ride a skateboard.

This roster 1-26 is so very thin. I would say 18-26 is one of the worst in the league. That's why they should be calling up the talented young guys. They are not very talented at the end of the roster compared to teams they are competing against.

You are going to be disappointed with the packers.   You need freaking receivers in the nfl.

My hopes are pinned to Romeo Doubs.

A dog belongs on a skateboard way more than Yelich belongs on a mound

I was hoping my post captured that. Packers will win their division (where have we heard that before) and flame out as usual.

Rookie wide receivers are notoriously very green.   Especially ones that aren’t high first round talent

Were talking about the Packers in a Brewers game thread and it's 1000 times more entertaining than the brewer game.

I hope Mark A is watching this and realizing that sometimes… sometimes… at the trade deadline you need to add some offense.

I agree. But I think Doubs can do amazing things.

They could use some offense and about 4 more good pitchers. Stearns was probably right not to get a bat, he should have sold more than Hader.

He's probably thinking more about which Michelin star restaurant he's going to eat at tonight.
