This is why I would never want to tick off an internet mob. They will find you. And they will kill you.

I just Googled, "People that sit behind home plate at Dodger games"

Imagine someone telling you two months ago that Suter would be the best left-hander in the bullpen (and that Small wouldn't be in the rotation either).

Gotta save arms, no possible way your 6th best reliever can pitch two innings.

More like....have to avoid controversy and make sure he doesnt have a chance to show up Hauser. Wouldn't want to reck his confidence.

Milner sucks.

The bloom is certainly off his rose. There was some article on the main page about adjustments he made, the article was either wrong or he went back to the way he’s always pitched since he turned pro….. poorly.

Is it wild to anyone that the Brewers signed Josh Linblom to a 3 year contract only to send him to the minors never to be seen again for two years?? Who else has done this?? Brutal resource management.

That pitching change needs to be asked about. That made zero sense from start to finish. Now you are going to have to use Pablo at some point. Fire Counsell already. I've seen enough.

Most random low level relievers without good stuff can have a 30 inning stretch or so of success.  Thats all it was and nothing more.

Over his last 15 appearances.

ERA 9.22

Innings 13.2

Runs 14

WHIP 1.39

Time to cut bait.

He turned out to be really bad.  Sunk cost is a sunk cost.

A couple of big games the last two nights and we get close to ten runned.       I’m beyond pissed at the padres for keeping the brewers alive.   Your heart still acts like the 11 year old kid we still got a chance rah rah

but your head knows this team just sucks.   They really do

thank god the Phillies and cardinals actually played like decent baseball teams.    Maybe the padres will put us out of our misery next week and we can move on

The only one I know is the lovely Mary Hart.

On the flip side, it would be sweet to get to make over $3M this year while pitching once a week in AAA.  Like, the team's probably staying in cheap apartments and at Super 8 on the road, and he's got a nice house in Nashville and can just go pay for his own hotel room at the nicest hotel in town.

At least it was 3 million per year and not  Runslevy Castillo who the Red Sox gave 100 million and never played him.

For some perspective.  San Diego,  that "went all in" is 8-12 since the trade deadline. They pitched "the best closer in baseball" when down 7-0 tonight while Juan Soto sat on the bench.

Welcome to the new world of 12 teams getting postseason series.  8 was a good number to make sure all were good teams and the postseason was high quality.  Now mediocre gets in.

And they looked better than the Brewers while doing it.

Wasn't he good in Korea or something?

Yes. I think so. It just very strange to me that despite the money spent they basically used him as a AAA arm and never gave him a shot despite giving shots to every arm in the organization. You are paying him regardless.

KBO MVP.  Hit the jackpot with Thames, then made the mistake of rolling the dice again.
