Yeah, I'm not sure why you're calling that some insane excuse. You can't keep running down field there, you come to the ball with the safety closing in.

But this game feels like the whole season. They absolutely can't give up 6 there of course, they give up 6. They're just always in it, but never QUITE good enough.

Looks like Davis was the TE on the route.

I love this Nixon dude. Fearless returner

Return gets us to midfield, and we do three and out.  Gross

It's the second half...what did you expect?

You’re right, my fault. Saw 20 points on the board and got excited.

Benkert can go on twitter and blame Davis and that's fine. He's right, Davis shouldn't break that route deep etc, etc.

Rodgers is a vet QB, and he of all guys should recognize where that safety is, and if he's got Randall Cobb or a vet TE running that route, chuck that ball and try to squeeze it into that window. Don't try squeezing it into that space with the safety sitting RIGHT THERE and be like "lolol that wasn't the QB's fault the TE has to slide down the line and make the play".

These guys ..... wow.

What is the definition of insanity again?  My God Joe change things up.

Packer DBs absolutely suck at free release and run.

This is all shaping up nicely for the “Rodgers did all he could but we lost, we’ve got almost no chance at the playoffs, it’s time for him to go on IR and give Love a look” angle.

FG there was a give up move.

No it's not. It's still a two score game with plenty of time left. There was no way they were converting a 4th and 8. Three is better than zero.

Yeah, 4th and 8 and half a QB out there.  FG was all they had.
