that might be the first drive all season that had both a Doubs and a Watson reception

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

I don't know whether to be thrilled that we finally found a return man in Nixon or annoyed that we unnecessarily trotted out Amari Rodgers week after week after week.

Stopped em' on 3rd and 17 and there's a LOT of celebrating going on on defense. Not without reason.....

They seemed to be a bit more hyped up too during.  People firing to the ball.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Watson is a really good run blocker

Yah, he made that play. Blocked the first guy and watched the other defender to sense where Jones was to then block that guy with the other defender. Great patience to not overblock his guy and let the other one free.

Well, that's depressing. Ray Lewis is on the Manningcast and he said Green Bay showed the most interest in drafting him but spent the most time with Baltimore. He was on the phone with Wolf and said that Green Bay would draft him if Baltimore didn't. What might've been.

I'm annoyed that they went last year with a special teams coach that was completely obviously in over his head and probably cost them a playoff game.

I think that cost them a title last year, tbh...would've made this type of quasi-transition season more palatable if they did what they were set up to do last season.

Nixon is the best player on the team

Usually you can't get Lefluer to stop making stupid challenges and that was one he should have made.

Why? What would the net gain have been? I guess you could argue when you're right on the edge of FG range that those few yards matter.
