Since we are getting down the last days before the draft, I think we will finally see the trade (of some sort) come to fruition.  When do you think it will happen?

I am going with after the draft.  I don't think the Jets will part with a 1st round pick in '24 and will instead insist on a 2nd round pick that could become a 1st if the Jets make the playoffs in '23 and a 2nd round pick in '25.  The Jets will receive the Packers 2nd round pick in '25 if Rodgers retires after the '23 season and if Rodgers doesn't retire it will be a 5th round pick in '25.

I can't see Gute delaying compensation until 2025.  He isn't on the "hot seat" quite yet, but that could change quickly.

I'll say between rounds 1 and 2.  2nd rounder this year is the initial return.

I don't see the Packers budging on the 1st round so whoever blinks first I guess.  Though it looks like the Jets owner is not budging either on their demands.  I still believe it will be an after the draft trade.

Never just because I want something to happen sooner.

Oh and I was thinking this meant to the Jets.  Which to me is likely.  Too much Social pressure from all the Jet Fans to only give a 3rd rd choice and GB sticks with either both 2nds or the 1st. Just not willing to meet the price.

Some other team will make an attempt next well after the draft.

I think it goes down to the Jets 2nd round picks. If there is someone the Packers really want when the Jets get on the clock, they'll push to get something done then. Otherwise, it could go on for a while.

Yes, that was my thinking as well with the post 1st round -"middle of the draft" item in the poll.
