Just keep winning series.

Just a hunch. But I think Rea is going to give up a dinger or two to Trout and Ohtani tomorrow...

Rea has the stuff to be successful but not dominant. He has to hit his spots with basically zero mistakes.

Kinda like losing a series at home against the Whit Sox...

Right. It’s Major League Baseball.

Going 20-8 is not easy regardless of the opponents.

If the Brewers can repeat what the Pirates have done against the teams  the Pirates have played they will be in great shape. They can start in Colorado next week.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

This game is a perfect example of why umpires need their power checked, why umpires should be able to lose their jobs, and why we need automated strike zones. I just watched highlights, this umpire is an absolute embarrassment and he should not be umpiring major league baseball games. This guy clearly had a vendetta against Adames for some unknown reason. Wild to me that umpires can screw up so badly and as soon as the manager or player say anything... ejection.

Trouts quality of contact this series has been monstrous. He's hit balls hard almost every time... Is this what prime yelich was like? Where you just hoped he'd find a fielder?

Dude has been doing this a decade. His best offensive comp through age 31 is Stan Musial

Agreed.  18-9 against a significantly more difficult schedule is at least equally impressive and not easy in itself.

Trout is next level.  I just hope for the ball staying in the yard.

Here it is...

The sad thing about the state of umpiring is that this seems to be one of the better scorecards yesterday.  Though it's the worst in terms of jobbing one team.

How is a missed ball 4 call on a 3/2 pitch with the bases loaded not the “most impactful”??

Because that pitch to Adames was a strike.
