We improve our farm system by sending out our vets and Payamps, we go for high end young prospects Basallo, Vargas, Rada and get guys like Norby, Hall, Feduccia, Anderson who can help immediately. To make up for the trades we overpay 4 vets (Turner, Hoskins, Bauer, Giolio) to short term deals who stabilize the middle of the lineup and provide a risky but high end 6 man rotation. (Rea takes spot for 1st injury)

I doubt it would be possible to sign those 4 vets if we trade Yeli, Adames, and Burnes. But we would be a contender have the best farm in the league, and not really block any major prospects and come in budget wise at a respectable place for Marky Mark.
