Like I said I'm a believer in the guy. And you're right, other than not maintaining a high average it certainly isn't like he's drowning at A+ or anything like that. But as you said he's 20, and I don't think it would hinder his development at all. The biggest negative for me is it would find him playing much more at 1B, which doesn't exactly thrill me at this point as I like him being stretched defensively, yet I suspect that's his best spot.

A larger part of this, for me, is Hall. The lack of power is somewhat strange but other than that needs to be bumped.

Hall and Adams can co-exist on the same team, so I'm not understanding the dilemma. Hall plays 1B 4 times a week and DH's twice. Adams plays 3B 4 times a week and plays 1B twice. Where's the issue?

If the 'Cats feel OK about filling their 1B-DH w/o Hall or Adams on the roster that would work. It shuts out much of Metzingers' opportunities with Wisco, but that doesn't appear to be a big issue.
