  1. I'm pretty sure that's saying they can be used in either game in the one scenario and specifically one game in the other scenario.
  2. 27th man cannot pitch in both games. They are only available for one of the two games. You are right that they don't have a minimum stay requirement back in the minors. They could be called back up 5 days later for another start.
  3. My sweet Eklund no longer a Shark. This makes me more sad than the Giannis trade did
  4. I think you're talking in general. I'm talking specifically the lineup tonight. Turang has been horrible against LHP this year. I want to flip him and Bauers because hitting in the 2 hole makes Turang a lot more likely to face the LHSP three times while Bauers in the 5 hole with Contreras and Vaughn in front of him is a lot less likely to face the LHSP three times.
  5. Absolutely love the lineup tonight. My only change would be flipping Bauers and Turang in the order
  6. It was the move of a desperate FO. Giannis was doing his thing of being non-committal and saying if the team is competitive I’m happy. The injuries were starting to wear on Khris so they needed a guy who could be the second offensive option. That offseason was just so bad for the Bucks. You hire Griffin and build the roster out like Jrue is your PG only to trade for Dame and have a horribly constructed roster around him. Remember Malik Beasley being used as the on-ball stopper that year? What a joke that was. I’ve said it a couple times but not here. I think the Bucks were always forced to sell the future for the present the last 6+ years because they did basically nothing right from the moment Giannis and Khris got to Milwaukee until the summer they hired Bud and signed Brook. The Jason Kidd era was disastrous for the Bucks. So many bad signings/trades and they whiffed so badly on some prime draft picks (bad luck obviously on the Jabari pick)
  7. With the lottery changes they don’t need to be top 3 pick back. They just need to be in the lottery which is entirely possible come 2031 and 2033
  8. I will not defend the FO because I think it’s been mostly bad since the summer they drafted Giannis and got Khris in a trade but I think Giannis constantly threatening the Bucks to stay competitive didn’t make it easy. They had to keep blowing up their future assets because Giannis was doing the half in/half out thing. When your megastar is doing that you end up doing dumb things like trading for an overweight 33 year old Lillard who didn’t want to be in Milwaukee. I think the window was probably closed at that point but that trade cemented the window being completely shut.
  9. I’ve been rooting for Detroit to get back into the playoff race and not trade Skubal. I don’t think the Brewers were going to be a real threat to trade for Skubal so I don’t want him traded.
  10. Do we think Giannis sells his very small amount of shares of the Brewers?
  11. My heart hasn’t been invested in this version of the Bucks since they traded Khris last year. I’m looking forward to a new chapter though not sure I have much faith in the ownership and front office to actually pull off a rebuild
  12. The 2031 and 2033 firsts are unprotected as well. Those could look pretty good.
  13. I didn't like the Miami Heat yesterday and I still don't like the Miami Heat today. I hope Giannis ring chasing fails and he never wins another ring.
  14. He's a one inning guy. Rarely ever pitches multiple innings. He's only gone more than 3 outs 5 times since the start of the 2024 season.
  15. I really think that would have been a completely different game if Mitchell hadn't chased 3-1 in the 2nd inning then looked at strike three the next pitch. I feel like Singer was ready to completely fall apart if Mitchell walked to load the bases.
  16. The Brewers had a -9 wRC+ today. The Reds had a -65 wRC+ today. That -65 wRC+ from the Reds was the 3rd worst offensive performance of the season. The Phillies had a -79 wRC+ in Misiorowski's complete game and we had a -66 wRC+ against Skenes and the Pirates on 4/24.
  17. He had two rough outings and has bounced back to have two really nice outings since then. I know he gave up the HR yesterday but I think he's put the issues behind him.
  18. Very fitting that none of the runs scored in this game by either team were on a hit
  19. Our pitching is awesome. Thank goodness Kuhnel closed that out because I would not have been a happy camper if he blew a save there a day after Patrick threw 3 innings up 7 runs.
  20. Also he's a guy fresh up from AAA where they never play more than 6 days in a row. Just giving him the occasional day off to make sure he's fresh down the stretch seems like a pretty sensible thing to do.
  21. Joey has played a lot because the Brewers have faced LHP in 3 of the 6 games since Pratt was called up.
  22. Sproat’s leash is so long I’m not even sure you can say he has a leash anymore. I’d guess Drohan is the guy moving back into the pen. He had a lot of success in that role previously and they could certainly use another LHP in the pen.
  23. Only 6 relievers though because you sent down Rom for Woodruff.
  24. I think isn't quite where it was last year is generous. The velo is down a lot. He's topped out at 95.6 during his rehab assignment. Last year he average 95.8 on his sinker but from June through the end of the year when he was pitching like the Koenig we are used to his sinker averaged 96.4. His hardest pitch on rehab is about 1mph below what his average sinker velo was when he was pitching his best last year.
  25. I'd guess Koenig is the only one who could be back before the ASB but like you said he just hasn't looked like the Koenig we are used to during his rehab process. His best average sinker velo in a game was 93.8 which is only a half tick below his 94.2 average before he went on the IL but also 2mph below his 95.8 average last year. Henderson I think is the only other guy with a chance but we would need to see him go out on a rehab assignment within the next week for that to happen.
