Literally everything about that pitch was hanging.  It literally ended up thigh high right down the middle.

Hanging curves typically don't break.  It was right down the middle, but it broke to that location.  Chourio must've been looking fastball and was fooled

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Now, I've not seen many games this week to see how he looks...

Watching games won't help you with that since he has spent the week on the freaking bench...

Both things can be true.  He was fooled by a hanging slider.

You simply don't know what hanging means in terms of pitching vernacular. He was fooled by a slider. End of story. Romero did anything but hang it.

People were saying the ABs up to the last 4 games that he looked good.

Adames swings at neck high pitch after a walk. I demand accountability.

You need your eyes checked that wasn’t anywhere close to being neck high unless Adames was only about four feet tall.

Looked good compared to what, his previous 4 games?

He was struggling, no doubt about it, but we have o either crap or get off the pot with him.  He needs regular at bats either with the Brewers, or down in Nashville.

Benching him for 4 games straight, then tossing him in the fire with bases loaded was a very questionable call imo.

Was it a strike? Nope. Did the guy in front of him walk? Yep. Case closed. Bad ab. Watch the game.
