Looking super shaky in the bottom of the 9th. Bases juiced. One run has crossed. LHP Jesus Broca was called on to try and rescue RHP Felipe De Los Santos bases loaded mess and he walked the first batter he faced on four pitches. 6-5 Crew suddenly and still not a single out with the bases still jam packed.

Can't ask for much more from Broca there. He came on with a bases loaded, zero out scenario. De Los Santos had already given up one run. After the walk for Broca made it 6-5 Crew. He surrendered solely a sac fly and struck out two including Muncy. 6-6 game and they head to Xtras.

Man, I swear to you: the ACL Crew reach the six games under 0.500 mark and they absolutely get snakebitten. Uncanny. They took a 6-3 lead into the 9th. Blew it. They just sent Manfred's Man to 3rd on a WP. Nobody out. K, Fielders Choice grabs Rodriguez at Home on a grounder, and Barrios K to end the threat. Nobody crosses.

It's Broca's turn to open the Xtra frame with a WP. 😅 Man on 3rd now. Nobody down. Pop out to 3rd for the first out. One down. 6-6 game.

Two down. Groundout to 1B. Three down. K to end the threat. Wow. Broca definitely is showing some cajones since coming stateside. Impressive out there!

Big Time. Big Time. Adamczewski and Bitonti both double. Throw a WP in there. It's suddenly 10-6 Crew. Two down. Big time frame here!

RHP Samuel Valerio came aboard to spell LHP Jesus Broca who had walked a runner aboard to put runners on 1st and 2nd. 10-7 Brewers lead. With Muncy on deck, Valrio walks his first batter on four pitches. You just can't put the winning run to the plate in the form of Muncy here. Ruh Roh! He'll try to escape.

I continue to think we likely have something in  Flores and, now, possibly in Broca. Both are really flashing as lefty strikeout capable relievers. Very curious to see when they make Low-A Carolina and how they fare and what their stuff looks like.
