Skenes vs Myers

When you consider draft status & pedigree, Myers has been quite the find for the Brewers this year. 

Hard to imagine Myers scuffling in the minors a few years ago with a 1-15 W/L record.

No one would argue that Skenes future is not brighter - but at least for this year, the two are fairly close in production for their teams.  

Congrats once again to the Brewers scouting & development departments - another successful redemption project in the books.

Never under estimate the value of throwing strikes and keeping the ball in the ball park. Myers gave up 7 homers and ten walks in his first 26+ innings. In the 67+ innings since he’s allowed only 7 homers and 14 walks.

If the playoffs started next week, Myers and Rea get the first two starts and maybe Peralta in Game 3, with my preference of having an opener for him considering his bad first innings with the top of the order.
