Dodger fans wanting Devin seem very willing to include Gonsolin in a deal on Twitter.   I know we’d prefer Miller and Sheehan, but would Gonsolin be of interest to brewer fans as part of a Devin package (I mean with him being the second piece of a deal).   He was great in 2023 and has two years of control left.   Color me intrigued to see if we can get both he and Sheehan in a deal for Devin.   What are your thoughts on Gonsolin as “part” of a Devin deal to the dodgers ?

Both Sheehan and Gosolin were injured and didn’t pitch much.  Still lots of upside there.  Certainly interesting.

It feels like you could insert the names of most of the top young pitchers in the Dodgers’ system into that sentence and have it still be accurate.

Dodger fans like to throw Lux into deals for Devin.   Honestly, I’d take the guy as like a throw in to get some salary off the books for them too.   I put him in the Monastario role though, not as a penciled in starter.   But he’d be a good upgrade from Mona if he’s the third piece.

If we can get Sheehan, Gonsolin, and Lux for Devin, I’m willing to not wait for a better offer elsewhere.  That deal sets our off season up quite nicely.
