Brewers 58-40 at Dodgers 58-41; Sunday, July 20 @ 3:10 p.m.: Jose Quintana (3.28 ERA, 4.36 FIP) vs. Clayton Kershaw (3.38 ERA, 4.19 FIP)

If the Brewers go,on to lose this game I will choose to look at the weekend this way:

While playing the World Champions on the road, the Brewers:

Lost no ground to the Cubs

Gained a game on the Dodgers

Gained a game on the Phillies

Gained a game on the Mets

Gained a game (and maybe 2) on the Cardinals

Gained  2 games on the Giants

Lost no ground to the Padres or Reds

Anyone who says they wouldn’t have been thrilled with that on Friday afternoon is lying

Contreras has to be better.

You are too important to this lineup to keep coming up small in situations where we just need a flyball.

The fact that Contreras has hit 2-3 all year is incredible.

I remember feeling that way a few years ago when Cloun$ell kept sending Yelich out there everyday at the top of the order

Damnit William.

He’s starting to aggravate me.    Wasting this year because he won’t sit out for a couple of weeks.  Just stupid

Murphy needs to sit him down for a bit

Yeah, total waste of a year where we have the 3rd most wins in MLB and are 12 outs away from a season sweep of the Dodgers.

I wonder if George Webb is cheering for Collins & the Brewers today?

Do they still do the hamburger thing?

As painful as it's been he's a 2WAR catcher this year. That's why he isn't sitting.

He got the ASB off. I would have preferred they sent him home a few days before that and given him an extended break.

I won't complain but thank God that 6th run crossed in time because that runner at 3rd was hosed and moving like a sloth.

Lane sending him was a dumb move. Everyone knows Vaughn is slow
