Quite the gem by Miqueas Mercedes though: 5 shutout innings - something to build on for 2026. And our young men threw out baserunners at home in the 7th and 9th innings.

All to get within 1 out of extending their playoff hopes for another inning, despite being 4-hit.

Proud of the squad. Two more games to show yet more progress.

The AA Shuckers lead their home series against Pensacola 2 games to 1 and have red-hot RHP Jaron DeBerry (1.61 ERA with 29 Ks in 28 IP in last 5 games) raring to go tonight.
