I agree but I think that was when Contreras' had the fractured finger/hand, so at least there was a reason for Murphy to play Seigler so much. 

Counsell was enamored with Tyler Black in 2024 and let him bat 49 times and loved Tyler's speed except rarely got on base to show it off with a .204 batting average.  Another one of Counsell's boys was Joey Wiemer, not even sure he's still in the MLB?

P.S. - We'll see how Isaac Collins does next year, hopefully he's not the next Brewer flash in the pan.  This post should be worth a few thumbs down. 😁

Seigler played 3B, not catcher, so Contreras had noting to do with it.

He played 25 games at 3B, 1 at Catcher, and 1 at DH.
