    How bad of an organization are the Mets? Freddy Peralta traded to the Rays on August 2nd. Since the trade, 2026 Stats with Tampa Bay: Record: 5–2 Earned Run Average (ERA): 3.25 Innings Pitched: 55.1 Strikeouts: 43 WHIP: 1.01 Last 41 innings pitched with Tampa a 1.76 ERA. So it took about 2 starts with Tampa to straighten him out. Kind of crazy if you really think about it. Also, he was AL pitcher of the month September.

    I think were the 7-win variety type team this year. A win next week vs Tampa would sure help stabilize things.

    I don't understand what the MLB is trying to accomplish with streaming games over normal broadcasts besides pissing off many faithful baseball fans.

    SD pitching is 3X better than the Cubs pitching. Your stuck in reverse thinking and flipping it upside down IMHO.

    The way the Packers look right now, they very well could end up in the cellar this season. The upcoming winless/quarterbackless, Tampa Bay Buccaneers game will tell us a lot. A must win game already.

    I see the Cubs had there asses handed to them by SD in game one. Cubs pitching is not postseason out getting ready.

    I have always thought it's because were a small market team which I believe is a bias especially in the MLB and NBA. Large-market teams attract and buy more superstars so the league benefits from that. "The theory" is that it is a financial incentive, since larger markets bring in more money even in selling merchandise, "follow the money, its always about the money".

    I would much rather play the Cubs... because in the last 20 games of the season the Padres are 17 and 3 and definitely on a hot roll right now. The Cubs are backing into the playoffs and definitely the underdogs to the Padres in the series. Also, our record history on the west coast is not that great even though we have home field.

    It depends on how many pitchers we carry. Teams are strictly capped at a maximum of 13 pitchers in the postseason.

    This is just a soft team and it all starts at the top. They have turned into last years Bucks.

    When your head coach/play caller says after week 3: "Right now I don’t know what we’re doing well." Packers fans wasted no time in venting their frustrations calling for LaFleur to be replaced immediately after their disappointing performance. This team has thrown in the towel playing for Matt LaFleur with the worst point differential in the NFL. Maybe coach glamour boy just needs another fresh haircut, there is nothing gritty about this man.

    I guess the game moves to fast for Matt to make any immediate comments on the game since he said 3 times, "got to go back and watch the tape."
