Not seeing him for at least 15 days doesn’t seem like the absolute worst thing in the world.

Although it makes the heavy schedule that much more challenging. The series in the Cincy bandbox could be really ugly with the pitchers they’re going to have to use.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Welp. Might see a Tyson Hardin call up earlier than anticipated? Idek who else in AAA is an option off the top of my head. I know Kuehner is still hurt.

Woody, Priester, Sproat, Henderson, Crow, C-Rod all injured now

and we had people on this site begging to trade from our starting pitching depth pre-season...

Sproat may get a lengthy IL, rehab break. His ERA is around 6 for the season. Brewers FO has been patient with him but someone may step in and steal his starting rotation role. Once Henderson returns - & potentially Woodruff … even Hardin - Sproat may need to “get right” in Nashville for several weeks once healthy.

I feel like we give up more homers into the right field patio than we hit. So it’s nice to finally have one count for us.

It's almost impossible for somebody to take a pitch that far up and away and do what he did with it

Sproat could be like a trade deadline middle relief arm once he gets healthy. He can be excellent for two or three innings. It took Woody, Burnes, & Peralta a little time before they became quality rotation arms.

Woody threw 82 pitches yesterday for the T-Rats and could be an option. Hardin would probably be the only other decent AAA option. Patrick could also easily slide into the rotation.

If Chourio hadn't been hurt he would probably be in the early mvp conversations. He has been on a crazy heater for 3 weeks or so.

Patrick sure served that one up.

He had been hanging around the edges but he threw a couple there and right down the chute

Our 20 million guy “could” be an option.  Good lord.   Get up here and start playing.   I’m at my wits end with that dude
