ARozarena would be my choice …Put him 3rd in the order and the Skubal negativity mainly goes away, especially if they get Kirby too.

The price? Steep. Pena, Fish, Letson, and a good milb outfielder?

I would do that, yep. It would be steep, but would have Kirby for a couple more years and a great bat NOW in the middle of the lineup. Another righty bat to play OF. Lara and Lockridge would be moved down and maybe called up in Sept. Frelick would be in the mix too when healthy. 

I would jump at it if I Was Seattle……..bright future for 2027 + immediately.

And we would still be stacked in the minors….Ebels filling depth in infield. Made and Coop filling left side of IF for a decade?

Would be odd for the Mariners to want to do this deal after just acquiring Ward. Seems they are in buy mode too.

Maybe that’s filler for what they will be giving up….tough to be big buyers when sitting below .500.

Yep, Mariners ended up buying with the Taylor Ward acquisition (which cost them nothing of value).

And then they also pulled off the brilliant Castillo salary dump. 

Remember, the Mariners are in a god awful division. Fangraphs still has them at 50% playoff odds and Cal Raleigh has been showing signs of life lately. Ward replaces Rob Refsnyder who is hitting .140 with a .465 OPS. 

Randy is having a textbook contract year production surge.

Wouldn’t a great bat be  almost better than anything else now? And throw in Made at 3B down the stretch?  Check that lineup out!
