Unreal. They just find ways to win. They ran away with the division. Those low points in August just goes to show how every season has those stretches. Fun being a fan of this team.

I'm trying not to get too optimistic cuz we've been terrible in the playoffs, but this team feels different, better than all those other teams.  Sky's the limit, boys, sky's the limit.

Go look at my posts previously... I literally said I'd pick Harrison over Wilson.  But I think Grant Anderson will be considered.

The vast majority of the site didn't want Ortiz starting after the first month or two.  His turnaround has been amazing and a big reason our offense has improved. 

As we get to the playoffs, though, you can't go off emotions of favorite players and such.  You have to be playing the hot hand because this isn't the place to "hope" someone turns it around.

Looking like the Cubs will avoid the 6 spot. If SD wins, CHC will be locked into the 5. I think that 4/5 series being played out west is preferable from a Brewers perspective. Since the Phillies imminent loss means that 4/5 series will be between the Cubs and the Padres, I'd think we'd all be SD fans today and tomorrow, just to increase travel.

Phillies fans may tear down the ballpark if that team doesn't win tomorrow. That would be a collapse.

As for the Brewers, ho hum. Another win. I know Dustin May is a lightning rod, but he'll be on the playoff roster. He might start. He probably gets 3 innings in a Game 4 situation or one where we're needing to eat innings. I just don't think it's worth too much concern. The playoffs are enough on an anxiety fest without having to worry about a veteran pitcher with consensus good stuff giving up a couple of runs in the early to middle innings.

The Brewers organization expects that all of these players go out into the community and provide service, charity and fellowship. Would it be OK for Turang to have this kind of disjointed, disinterested response to kids and their families in a hospital setting, who view him as a hero? Would we be proud of that?
You need to do all of these things to earn your paycheck in Milwaukee. Turang needs to be able to have articulate and interesting responses to the basic media at least

But this is what you get when you skip college as he did or do not learn the basics of public speaking. Imagine Turang being elected “captain”…and being the face of the Brewers with only grunts and “yeahs” to utter. 
 

I know he’s in a steady relationship. Interesting first date I imagine. Maybe she can help him…
