in the grand sceme of things, 81 wont mean much next season, since there are going to be higher expectations on this club. Although for people like the ones on this board, this means SO MUCH. We have struggling to get to 70 wins the last couple season. 2002 I feel was the lowest the team has ever been. For the first time in a while there is real promise with this club. Its going to be an awesome winter i think. Now we need to get to 82 and then we no longer have to be lumped with Pittsburgh as most consecutive loosing seasons.
