Apparently a runner at 2B should try to advance on a hard grounder to the pitcher.

Clark is the worst baserunner ever http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

I 2nd the motion that Brady Clark can't run the bases to save a life.

I thought one of Cirillo's redeeming qualities was that he could "do the little things" and "move runners over"?

Although the hit-and-run worked, I guess I'm not convinced that it's a great place to use it- with 2 outs and the pitcher on deck.

Totally agree here. The only thing going to score Hall is an extra base hit, and with 2 outs, he can go on contact ANYWAYS, and will likely score from first without the hit and run.

I know it opens a hole for Miller to hit through, but like you said, we really need a gapper in that situation. Just getting him to 3rd does us no good.

Ok, I'm bringing this up because Schroeder has mentioned it in EVERY HELLING START.

It's unbelievable what he's doing, because he's only pitched 30! innings this year! Oh boy wow! How he's managed to stretch himself out to start is beyone belief!"

!!!!!!!

He was starting all year in Nashville Bill. I don't know if maybe pitching in the minor leagues doesn't stretch your arm, or whatever, maybe physics cease to apply below the major league level.

Get a clue for cryin' out loud.
