I want to add on to the Prince not starting post. It would be one thing if we were starting the same nine every day, or if Prince were a defensive replacement type. He was red hot when the Brewers brought him up. He may have stayed hot had we used him once in awhile. In that time Lyle's average has dropped a few points. Also, it seems like we have gone out of our way to start Magruder and get him at bats.

 

Pittsburgh has been a harbinger of disaster for us in 1998, 2001, and 2004. I have had a bad feeling about this series since the start of the homestand.

 

I usually don't do Chicken Little posts like this. I apologize to those who are offended.

How about someone other than Clark plays some baseball. Argh, one thing that I cannot understand is when I see predictions of future lineups for next year Clark is absent. Clark shows up everyday and Clark will hit consistently but yet it gets overlooked.
