There's that Maddux interview about Helton again where Bill COMPLETELY missed the point. I guess they played it again so Bill can pretend he knew what Maddux was saying the first time the first time.

 

Maddux says you have to pitch to Helton, Bill. Got it?

I wonder if Colorado would be a good place to piggy back starters. Seems the first time through the staters go ok, THEN the batters figure them out. Maybe subconsciously the batters think a curve ball is coming and stop thinking that after 3 innings.

 

So put in another guy and they and guess what he might have on the night.

If you all remember, Cappy went 8.1 innings of 3 hit ball and 1ER against Colorado earlier in the year. We only scored 2 runs that entire game. That was at Miller Park and Botallico still had a 3.5 ERA. This is different.. This is shutout night.

Well I am sure this has been touched on over and over again, what I do not get Is why Yost sat Rickie tonight. Take out one of your better OBP guys verse a pitcher who has been known to walk a batter or two, and replace him with Bill Hallhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif
