I wonder if it has to do with growing up in a rural setting or not. I did, and I thought it was great... those who've told me they didn't like it didn't.

 

I think all of the hype made people go in with higher expectations... I was fortunate enough to see it without hordes of people telling me it was the greatest.

actually, i find this movie so campy that it makes me laugh quite a bit. especially love the scene when the giant snake spits john voight out of his mouth and he just stands there and winks at jennifer lopez. campy indeed.
