MLBtv - Can I get Brewers games?

Long story short - I don't have FSN North anymore and I need to watch the September, playoff chasing Brewers. I live in Madison currently.

MLBtv broadcasts only out-of-market games, as I understand. Is there a way to set it up so I can see Brewers games anyway? Like, change my address? Does that work?

On a few instances with MLB.tv, I was able to get Twins games here in the Cities by just reloading the screen a couple times. I wouldn't bank on that, though. Al's suggestion is the best - perhaps you can pay someone with a credit card in another state to do it for you.

im in minnesota and thinking about getting it as well even though my zip is blocked from games but is it true that you can still watch the games you just have to wait until the game is over and then access it in the archives or something along those lines...?

Yup, that's how it works. When the game is over you can go to archives and watch the whole game. On several occasions I've shut myself out from any news when I didn't have cable and watch the brew game after it was done.

As of the last 2 years it was NOT your billing address that mlb.tv checked. They use an IP address location service to determine whether you're "in market" or "out of market". (I imagine a big part of their customer base is people who travel and watch their home team while they're away on business... discriminating by billing address would exclude those people regardless of where they are.)

A site like ip2location will tell you what location your IP address says you're at. Using a VPN or a proxy server is a relatively simple way of getting around this. Those instructions can be found pretty easily; just Google for them.
