Wrigley Bleachers Advice

Sitting in the bleachers tomorrow, and haven't sat there before. We'd like to be have okay seats. I know if you are among the last people to arrive, you might have to stand for the game. How early do the bleachers fill up?

There's always a sizeable line before the gates open up. I'd get there as soon as you can.

I only sat in the bleachers at Wrigley once, but they do fill up very quickly. If you want a good seat (I am assuming its general admission since I had GA seats the one time I had bleacher tickets), just show up during batting practice because everyone basically runs around trying to get a ball during bp. Just make sure you are prepared for the weather, it gets mighty hot in the bleachers out there since the sun shines there the entire game. I almost got heat exhaustion out there.

yeah, getting there early is the best advice for the bleachers. i'd also throw in as, perhaps an obvious consideration, do what you can to situate yourself next to at least a couple other brewer fans. this provides both solidarity and "protection". i make this distinction because i've been to games there the last three years and there are still disappointingly few brewer fans in the bleachers (if not at wrigley in general), and we all know the kind of flattery and class a cubs fan onslaught can provide...
