Top of the order coming up...how about getting those runs back, guys? Against Marmol-Howry-Dempster it seems improbable, but it can be done.

Since when did Cappy turn into Glendon Rusch? Ouch.

Come on offense, please? We need this one.

With Marmol pitching....game over.

Isn't Marmol gone? Didn't Murton PH for him?

No, it was a double switch, so Marmol is still in. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/indifferent.gif

Why don't we let Crapuano close this game out and see if the Cubs can hit double digits. Arguably the biggest game of the season and we've got our worst pitcher in the game for several innings.

Oh who am I kidding, someone else in the pen would have inevitably blown this one instead of Crapuano.

Anyone have an explanation as to why Soriano saw anything but changeups in the last ab? The confusion that is Chris Capuano continues: crusing with excellent location and then meltdown. Doesn't make any sense.

You can't really blame Cappy for the one to Soriano, com'on now.

He had no business swinging at the pitch. It was at least 3 or 4 inches inside and low.

There we go, Rickie! Nice job slapping that opposite field and heads up play to get to 2nd on Murton's error. Get him home, guys.

Is it me or does it seem that the inning after any of our pitchers make a late inning plate appearance, they give up runs the next frame? Either that, or they'll get pulled after one or two batters in the next inning.

Cappy pitched fine. If Soriano wasn't a freakshow with the ability to golf a ball into the bleachers, Cappy gives up one run in 3 innings. Nothing wrong with that.
