Follow up on the 12K nite from Zach Braddock...someone asked "what does he throw?" I spoke to Zach at the park tonite about his outing yesterday, and he said 9 of the 12 punchouts came on fastballs. Said all he throws is primarily fastball, slider and change. Working on his location, and eliminating walks which he did last nite!

Any idea what he hits on the gun?

After talking with Zach, he says he can bring it 91-92 but generally is in the 87-88 range.

I think because he commands such a strong change up like you saw l Friday night, it makes his fastball appear even faster and likewise, the off-speed stuff more effective. I like that he's built on each appearance...although it will be tough to replicate that performance! Here's hoping! I am really enjoying the entire pitching staff on this squad.
