There's one less starting pitcher off the free agent market. Not a bad deal for the Rangers if he's finally healthy. Jennings is from the Dallas area, so this is being viewed as a bit of a one-year hometown discount to prove his health.

I really liked Jennings last year, the injuries derailed what was a positive trend for him and he did not come back from it well at all.
