Yes, and I also don't expect Damon or Abreu to rebound much v. LHP. Matsui, iirc, has been relatively strong v. LHP in his MLB time.

He just signed a minor league deal with a spring invite with the Rangers. I guess he really wanted to be closer to his home. It looks like he is going to have a tough time barring injuries to crack the active roster with Texas.

Mute point about how he would have faired with the Yankees.

 

He could make the team out of spring training with the Rangers as easy one of the the other teams discussed. He has to beat out Nelson Cruz or David Murphy for the last spot in the OF and neither of them has lit the world on fire over their career. If Bradley get DL time with his knee Mench has a better shot getting on the 25 man roster.
