I am watching the game on mlb.tv and TGJ clearly got his hand in before the tag. Just terrible, between this guys strike zone and his calls I am 100% positive that this ump is a Ranger fan. Estrada Graffy Counsell The new murderers row

No, it is not televised but it is on mlb.tv

The Rangers announcers said it went 430, but I was watching the game and went about halfway up the hill.

You are the fan that I just can't stand. What have you been watching the past couple of years, he never makes the correct decision. This team was not turned around by Yost it was turned around by Doug Melvin no doubt about it. Why was Cordero not brought in that game, why did Shouse start the inning with a righty and a switch hitter coming up, why does he still have a job? These are all questions that I am still asking.

Big hit but he is tied for the lead with Jenkins

The Orioles are discussing a trade that would land them first baseman Adam Laroche from the Braves for 2B Brian Roberts. Is it just me or are the Braves just trying to get rid of Laroche? This is the 3rd time I have heard him rumored in a trade. Also if this trade goes down Mark Loretta could be signed to fill the void at second base? cbs.sportsline.com/mlb/story/9875398/rss Edit: added first names to subject title. --1992casey

The Rockies are apprently actively shopping the newly acquired CF and the Brewers and Cubs are the top teams that are interested. I don't know if I want a guy that consistently gets on base only 33% of the time, although Juan Pierre got 9 mil a year for very similar stats. Edit: added "?" to thread title. --1992casey

Looking at the numbers I change my mind I agree with you.

The Braves are exteremly close to acquiring Mike Gonzalez from the Pirates for 1B Adam LaRoche. Advantage way in favor of the Braves. (more specific subject -TC) (third subject -1992casey) http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Kind of makes you think that Melvin may not be making a move this week, especially in the free agent market. I guess we can put that Jason Schmidt rumor to bed.

Ken Rosenthal is reporting that Miguel Batista is being persued by the Royals and the Cardinals. The Royals are offerring 3 years 24 million. Isnt this too much money for a decent #5? ---------------------- EDIT: clarified thread title

According to mlbtraderumors.com the Braves are close to acquiring Jake Peavy from the Padres in exchange for Marcus Giles, Haracio Ramirez, and Saltalamacchia ©. Personally I think this is a blockbuster trade that could benefit both teams. Any thoughts?

The Brewers need to give Kevin Mench a shot. Everyone on this website says dont put too much into just a small sample size. Since he struggled in his 130 AB in a new league, against new pitching, everybody wants to get rid of him. All I ask is leave him out in left for 1 month and then look at his production. Then we can judge him on another 130 at bats.

I dislike this idea. I wouldnt do this Sheets deal straight up and the Rockies would be nuts to do that straight up.
  15. yogallardo43
Well first off Larue had a horrendous year this year so dont judge him based on that. And if presented with that lineup i believe that the Brewers would be playing ball late into October.
  16. yogallardo43
I would offer a trade to the Reds to acquire LF Adam Dunn and C Jason LaRue. In return I would give them Jenkins and one of our top prospects, also Doug Davis. Also sign Jason Schmidt The new lineup 2B Weeks RF Hart LF Dunn CF Hall 1B Fielder C Larue 3B Koskie SS Hardy Pitchers Spot Bench Cirillo Graffy Miller Mench Gross Gwynn Pitching Rotation Sheets Schmidt Capuano Bush Villanueva/Gallardo Bullpen Jackson Wise Turnbow Sarfate Shouse Capellan Cordero This is right at or just above 60 million Let me know what you think.

I was planning on going and already have hotel and travel figured out. Could I just buy the seats from Brewerfan.net directly.

Please tell me that you guys are starting to see that Yost is a dumbass. This team will have to overcome to many of his decisions to win ball games. FIRE HIM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
