  1. Yeah, I don't know what the solution is but at this point there's such an extreme outlier that it's clear an adjustment needs to be made to the game. I think the offensive struggles/great pitching are due to several combinations of how the game last been played the last few years and this year it's all coming together. 2020 and 2021 are weird years because of COVID so I think there won't be a real answer until after 2022. Just the way I see it but would be pleasantly surprised to hear a concrete conclusion with info/data later this season and thus a change going into 2022. Edit -- I think the most obvious "easy" answer is to eliminate extreme shifts. Players basically have to stay within a certain 'zone' of their natural position, the SS and 2B with the most flexibility.
  2. I'm sorry, I agree that you can't wear-out your starters early in the year, but when they're your best options, can you let them work a bit. This bullpen sucks. We have to start winning games and winning 2 of 3. It's cool Burnes and Woodruff can't go 100 according to Counsell... they'll be good and ready when we have to win 23 out of 30 to end the season to get the second playoff spot. Yes I realize this is an overreaction.
  3. Reyes is going to commit an error and then we're going to be going crazy about the Brewers' shortstop curse.
  4. I'm really not trying to be a jerk but I wish that you wouldn't post just a link to Twitter. It kind of sucks to always click a link for a lame tid bit that I assume is breaking news when I see Twitter links posted in other forums. What I wish was that if a person posted a link to Twitter, the Tweet would just show up on Brewerfan like it does for other forums. Ah well.
  5. It's not great that every time a ball is thrown to your first baseman, you're worried about their horrific footwork making an easy catch look more difficult than it is.
  6. How often do you think he has passed by Stearns office and said why did you talk me into that again?? So strsnge that a guy who was on the street during spring training ends up getting the hammer of the option. It is malpractice. Or Stearns was told by Mark A to sign a FA and brought up JBJ. Who knows. I didn't like it at the time and have never really liked it, even though he hits the ball hard.
  7. Seriously, this is little league nonsense. Was that even that bad of a throw? No, it wasn't. Vogelbach needs to move his lazy feet.
