That's not how much a Moustakas-type players costs. Moustakas will likely get $80+ million plus this offseason. Just because the market for 3B will be better?! Moustakas didn't have anything close to that type of offer last offseason, did he?

Not to divert too much from the topic, but almost wonder if it makes sense for Arcia to hit somewhere in the lineup other than right before the pitcher. Having two "sure outs" back-to-back is sort of a killer. Then again, hitting Arcia anywhere else could be inning killers just as easily.

I can't tell you when the last time I slept past 9 was. Getting up each day for work at 5 am and the better part of a decade in active duty military will do that to you. So will having kids, but I'm not there yet. Even if I go to bed at 2 am from being out at the bars.. my body is up and I'm awake at 6. Lots of fun.

I feel like the Brewers need innings from guys other than their "core" more than they need the win. I know that's kind of weird, but that's how I feel about this game. Of course you want to win, but if you lose and it doesn't cost you your tired bullpen arms and you can save them and salvage the series, it's a mini-victory. Just the way I see it. I think I hit the acceptance stage on this stretch sooner than some of you guys, lol.

This is likely one of those stretches that teams have during the season. Exhaustion, bad luck, etc, all play into it. Frustrating, but that's baseball.

Pretty sure Miley is only pitching because there are what, five games in four days? I don't know how much an extra inning of Miley will help ease some of the pitching burden, but it looks like it won't make a difference if he can't even get out of this inning. Whatever.
