  1. This is a very good, very well reasoned post... but this is the In-Game thread so we’re going to need you to pick one end of the emotional spectrum and practice some irrational fervor. Wouldn't be an in-game thread without a passive aggressive post about how fans react in said in-game thread about an in-game event. It's almost more surprising at this point that posters can't seem to grasp than in-game threads are the absolute perfect places for reactionary posts.
  2. I was wondering if they'd allow Hader to go a few innings tonight.. probably not.
  3. Great at-bat, Arcia. That was stupid, anyway. So Hader comes in, potentially faces one batter, and then could come out with a PH if Arcia were to reach (yeah, right) or get walked? Stupid. The Cubs not walking Arcia shows he's of no concern to them since he can't seem to lay-off anything outside and isn't hitting it to RF like he's been capable of in the past.
  4. Ok, now I'll admit that ump sucks. Russell shoulda been struck out looking.
  5. Tell that to Thames. Just seems like a bad zone so far. Meh, he's not calling much (or anything) down or low on the corners. That pitch to Thames may have been high but didn't look nearly as bad as some of the misses (again, in my opinion) that he's had for both teams.
  6. Holy cow, this is a tight zone. Seems like Brian Anderson brings up beards at least once a game and yes, we all know Rock can't grow a beard.
  7. It's a consistently small zone, but only one team will likely have enough patience to take advantage. Brewers with a whimper in the bottom half.
  8. Curious to see what the zone for Hendricks looks like. This is assuming the Brewer hitters can take more than one or two pitches and actually look for something to hit or maybe they'll just roll everything over.
  9. Woodruff's stuff looks good tonight. I thought he was getting squeezed a bit but hopefully that zone works for the Brewers, too.
  10. Threw a strike and collapsed in a heap on the mound holding his lower left hamstring. Trainers basically had to carry him off. Maybe he was just tired. "Dock that man a day's pay for nappin' on the job."
  11. You know you're not seeing it well when it's 3-1 and you're trying to bunt for a hit. I get it, shift and all, but gotta be rough when the rest of your teammates are teeing off on Brewer pitching today.
  12. Sogard with the 'I've got too much time I'm going to mess this up.... thanks Thames!' throw to first base.
  13. This is news to me. He's 'beloved' as an analyst?! OK.
  14. We still gotta pitch. I'm sure they can find a creative way to lose it.
  15. Santana is so bad in RF. I mean, how the hell does that happen to him so frequently? Dribblers get by him on the reg.
