  1. Indeed I was. I was also slightly inebriated last night, so I was a little more annoyed than usual.
  2. Oh please.. no one said "leave if you were going to be optimistic".. I believe the message was "this is an in-game thread, tensions are going to be high".. You weren't being positive, you were picking on those who were upset about a disaster of a game and disaster of 10-game stretch.
  3. Meh, we were bad in the 1990s and early 2000s. Brewer fans should be happy to be in 1st place.
  4. Is the in-game thread not the place to vent during the game? I'm sorry, but losses are a lot harder to take when the team you root for has something to play for. Can you stop with the whole "stop complaining, the team is in 1st" act. Let people vent in the in-game thread, that's what it's here for. Ok..then people should stop venting!! Or you can just let it go as an in-game thread vent and let it go - like most other posters do. This was a frustrating loss in a frustrating part of the season. The fact that the Brewers are in 1st place really means nothing as that lead is sure to be gone by the end of the weekend. Will we be able to vent and complain if the team isn't in first place? Just curious..
  5. So you would rather be in last place and play for nothing than be in first place and go through a tough patch? This is a tough patch? They're 1 for their last 10, that's more than a rough patch; but, we shouldn't be concerned, because they're still in first and in the 1990's they were junk? Gotcha.

  7. And there it is. Not surprising with this team and staff.
  8. Before tonight, Wooten had given up 10 runs this year in 33 appearances. Half of those runs came in one game. 5 runs in 32 appearances. And? Kintzler?
  9. How can Melvin leave Wooten and Kintzler up so long when they've been ineffective for so long? I don't get that at all.
  10. Now is the time for them to swing at the first pitch because someone is looking for the big hit.
  11. The Brewers will lose this game. They've gone cold at the plate and the Cardinals are awake.
  12. Why is this blue?! I'll fix it: Wang pitched two times in this series, of course his shoulder is going to be sore.

  14. Some of the balls were hit pretty hard.. well, actually probably all of them.
  15. So, do the Brewers become sellers at the deadline? Who knows how long this free-fall will continue..
  16. That tends to happen when you swing at everything. I'm not able to see this game, but is guess they are swinging an everything. They are - the game looks a lot like last night. Grounders to short and 3rd all game.
