  1. Yeah it's super lame at this point; we're also supposed to be relying on guys who can't stay healthy and who had mixed results even when they *were* here, aside from a healthy Woodruff, a few starts from Civale, and some good outings for Ashby last year. It's just not a good team right now.
  2. Great job Ortiz. You get out of the way of a slow breaking ball only to strike out. Wonderful.
  3. I agree with this. Plus, talent infusion can't hurt. Do not want to give up big pieces to get it, though.
  4. How does this have anything to do with my post? Plenty of people complained about the offense and the coaches last year, especially when Rhys and Jackson weren't hitting.
  5. I honestly don't know what any hitting coach can do for Ortiz and Durbin. The others who *can* hit just need to start hitting. Contreras being hurt is what it is; you wish Quero could play to get a cup of coffee and let Contreras rest. Yelich needs to step up.
  6. I get being upset in the moment but he's been one of our best offensive players. He botched that play and maybe cost the game tonight but he's hardly the most disappointing aspect of this team, IMO.
  7. Hudson doesn't have the heat like he had last year. Unless I am missing something. Thought he was throwing gas last year but his fastball doesn't seem to have nearly the same life.
  8. Good to see Jackson Holliday heating up. Can't say the same for Rutschman or Kjerstad.
  9. That should solve their problems.
  10. Do the Brewers not have anyone else in AAA who isn't a complete gas can at the MLB level?
  11. You could see right as the batter made contact that Patrick knew he made a mistake. He didn't make many tonight. Offense was likely going to need more than 4 so time to get some ABs together.
