    I'm not dogging on Sal at all as I think his bat plays on this team and he's been one of the few who are hitting. I just sort of hope he's not going to be the full time 5th hitter in this lineup. Maybe they feel they'd rather have someone there who's going to grind out at bats but would rather see someone who's going to hit the gaps more often or has more HR pop. No issues with Sal playing 5+ times a week but would prefer to see him at 7. Swap him and Mitchell when Yelich is going to be the DH.

    Right. And this whole, "we have reinforcements coming" word salad doesn't real mean much when Hall and Ashby can't stay healthy or aren't very effective in a starting role. We have zero clue what Woody can provide. We're going to have to count bigtime on Myers, when he's healthy, to be a horse in the rotation. I don't know. Not seeing it. Bullpen looks like trash, too. We likely would be way more upset if the Brewers were losing games late or an error blew a game open they should have won. But these games aren't even competitive.. like.. at all.

    The only reason game 2 "appeared" competitive was because of 5 errors. It's been a season-long ass kicking.

    I know I'm overreacting, but their body language and terrible at bats, terrible contact, ugly ass pitching, etc, this looks like a 60 win team. Yes guys are injured. It doesn't mean this team is going to be good once they come back. They're not even close to making consistent hard contact.
