  1. Sure would be a shame if my team gave me a meager lead.
  2. As is tradition: we score? Here, you can score too.
  3. Nice. Way to go KH. There's a run we no longer have. Excellent.
  4. This.. isn't really at all the same situation but point taken.
  5. I don't really care, just tired of hearing about the Cardinals. Last Sunday night they were on Sunday Night Baseball (I almost never watch ESPN anymore) and the love-fest for all things St Louis when they were playing the Braves was gross. I was reminded why I rarely watch their broadcasts when 15+ years ago it was almost can't miss viewing for me to watch random games.
  6. Probably because it is. They need more than three runs, but they need their best starter to be better.
  7. This team, on paper, is more talented than 2014, right?
  8. I read this as 2000 and 2001 and was very confused.
  9. Sometimes it's acceptable to write your thoughts into paragraphs.
  10. It wasn't close. Were we watching the same play? The ball beat him by like two+ steps. "If it's close, it's always a good send"? It's always a good send to have two on, two out vs 3 on and 1 out with your #4 hitter? Clearly we're not going to agree on this so I'll it go.
  11. Yelich was almost to 3rd by the time the LFer had the ball ready to throw. It was a terrible send. Period. There was also one out; there weren't two outs where you take a chance. Not sure why you're defending this.
  12. Your ace on the mound against the freakin' pirates and he can't hold the lead to save his life.
  13. Because we think that if we just keep doing the same thing, we'll eventually get him out. It's maddening. We could face a team with one good stick in the lineup over a three game series and that one good hitter would wear us out and we'd lose 2/3 because of stubbornness.
