  1. I remember when he came up and made his MLB debut. Those were really exciting times to be a Brewer fan as they were right on the cusp of finally being competitive with these young players. I wonder if his decline was being overworked, bad conditioning, or just a combination of the two. I don't recall him ever really having over-powering stuff, but he threw his pitches for strikes. Later in his Brewers' career, it seemed like he nibbled more and more and I recall several times where he just couldn't get guys out before it was a 3-2 count with several foul balls.

  3. I think it's way too much for David Robertson; I hope the Brewers don't give FA relievers 3 year deals. I can't say much about the trades because I don't know a lot of the players but I appreciate the work that went into your proposals.
  4. Didn't even have to look at who posted it.
  5. It's baseball, it's slow moving. There is discussion. We cannot discuss a player's contract during the game?!?
  6. "Forget about Yelich because he's just high-priced."

  8. Shocked that Narvaez killed another inning.
  9. No. Revenue sharing is a drop in the bucket compared to media deals the "big spenders" have and Milwaukee has almost NO media income as far as their regional sports network (via advertising). Now that Fox Sports Wisconsin is gone, who knows where this club will continue to go to get that advertisement money. Some clubs have their own freakin' network and the Brewers can't compete with that.
  10. This reads a lot like other posts who expects our owner to really open his pocket books when it's not going to happen. Whether he has the money or not is beside the point.
  11. They wouldn't have let him walk as a FA; they would have flipped him for something IF he were still producing like he did in 18 and 19.
  12. Can those teams absorb a bad contract easier than the Brewers? Yes or no. Edit: are they also shorter than the Yelich contract?
  13. Yeah, this is pretty much it. He's being paid to be a middle of the order guy and he's playing like a slap hitter who occasionally runs into one. This contract is terrible, no matter how you want to break down the random stats. It's going to hurt this club for the entirety of the contract and it looked like Yelich was a "sure thing" but it's another lesson for a small market club that there's no such thing.
  14. Right down the freakin' middle, Omar. What are you looking for?! God you suck.
  15. Omar is another bum that I am sick of watching.
  16. "Keston Hiura needs to play every day!" folks can probably just stop now. He's garbage.
  17. Hurray, an infield hit. Watch Rowdy roll into 2.
