    Listening to baseball tonight, Olney commented saying that he had talked to a GM in the national league and he thought it was a gaurantee that the brewers will trade Prince before this deadline. He mentioned the white sox with a package of young P Dan Hudson and or Gordem Beckham.Also mentioned the Ray with a deal centered around Wade Davis. IF its me sign me up for the White Sox Dan Hudson and Gordem Beckham.

    I cant make it(which sucks) so im here to sell my 2 tickets if anyone wants them. They are part of my 9-game pack Section 208 ROw 16 Seats 13-14. Good seats, and they havent lost a game ive gone to , plus Hoffman has come in all 3 games to get the save.Im in the Madison area, so we can meet up maybe have a beer catch some of th game.     Hey I seen the whole scuffle and my take is that prince should NOT be suspended. He waSs very hot though, but he was walking away to the duggout when the ump came after him argueing and thats when Price really lost it. As far as bumping the ump I dont think he did. So i guessI dont think a susp. will happen but if they do it would only be a Game at most.

    I agree with that the cubs do have a rather large fanbase, but to say they are at the top with the yanks i disagree. What about the Red Sox , Mets, Angels, even the Dodgers all have large fanbases.

    Ok didnt know where to put this, in the vent thread or another thread. But anyways, is anyone else really getting tired of all the media attention the cubs get. I mean they are on fox every sat afternoon. And sportscenter as something about them on every single show. Whether it being about the tirade of Pinnella or the fight between Zambrano and Barrett. I guess im just sick of seeing/hearing about the cubs every where i look. I just want the cubs to suck again and the brewers to get hot!!! I guess this could of gone in the vent thread, so lock it up if you want. (consolidated tags --1992) (unambigufied thread title / added tag --1992)

    As much as i would love so see something happen, i just dont think anything will. I dont wanna get my hopes up about dye or dunn, because i dont think it will happen, the team will stand pat and hopefully get back on track. Now i do think they should try and do something to jump start this team, but once again i doubt it.

    I too, agree 100% with you!!! I mean there is 1/3 of the season left. It's been a roler coaster wwith peaks and valleys. We are just in one of those valleys, and the Scrubs are at the peak. It wont stay like that for long. I have a real good fealing about the upcoming homestand,albeit a very tough homestand i think we'll take 5 outta 6 and things will be looking good once again!!!

    Ok I have couple things, one being Where does Rickie go? Ya he is slumping , but to go out and get another guy to start over him would tottaly kill him. How would that help him. He just needs to play PERIOD!!!! The second is why do you insist on moving HArt out of the lead-off spot. Since his move there Hart and the team have flourished. Keep him there, if it aint broke dont fix it.

    Isnt the idea to keep our bullpen strong why trade away someone who as 3 to sub 3 era. Hes a good guy to have around, like you siad can pitch those garbage innings when we either whooping or getting whooped. Id rather trade a porspect or two fo the RH bat.

    With the two most recent members to each of the clubs, got me thinking which would you rather be in, 3000 hit or 500 homers? Peronally i believe the the 500 Home runs is a lillte more difficult, and i think thats what i would rather do. Although i really think it depends on what kind of player you are also. thoughts????

    I just hope we dont see a replay like last yr b4 the break when the cubbies came in and took it to us. It was a downfall after that series. Gotta good feeling we will take at least 2 of 3 from them maybe even sweep seeing how we dont have to face Zambrano who has been lights out lately.

    Alright i forgot about Lidge and I for one would love to have him. Ya he has been having his struggles, but so did COCO before he came to the brewers. I believe Maddux could help get Lidge back to where he was a few yrs ago. Wow Tbow in the 7th, Lidge 8th, and Coco in the ninth. I LIKE ALOT!!!! As for McCann or the Salty one, i would also love to get one of there two, however the price would be pretty steep. How about Gwynn, Inman, and Bush or Vargas for either of the two? To much not Enough???

    Ok I am just curious to what you guys think this team needs. With the all star gaming only 3 or so weeks away and then the trade deadline after. I think for position players we are set Counsanino seem to be getting it together and with Ricky comin back it should only help. I believe the only thing that could really help put this team over the edge is Bullpen help. Now i know either Vargas, Bush, or Yo should b in the pen when Cappy comes back. But i would really like the idea of going after one of the Texas guys Otsuka (id prefer him) or Gange. Thoughts

    Duno how you can say Yost did not have nething to do with the No hit. Plain and simple there could of been a better lineup out there. Ya he does not do the hitting but come on you gotta agree on that.
