  1. When I was a kid, and one of my favorite sports teams would lose a game. I almost always would dream that night, that said team had won the game. Needless to say, I woke up confused many times. I have dreams that I die in a plane crash, ever since I was young. In 3 weeks I fly to Vegas... I must be an idiot, lol...
  2. Nothing is more scripted than unscripted reality tv. I'm not saying, I'm just saying. To each their own I guess.
  3. 1. The Borg 2. Brainiac 3. Hanibal Lectur 4. Clubber Lang (i second this nomination) 5. Emperor Palpatine 6. King Longshanks 7. umpires/refs 8. The Wet Bandits
  4. I enjoy watching Man vs Food. I was wondering if anyone out there has either, any local favorite challenges, or has tried any across the country. Or what challenges do you think you could take down?
  5. The two times I've been to Pitt, I've stayed in Monroeville. It's a really nice suburb. There are some decent priced hotels, and if you have free time, a huge mall.
  6. eating is double yummy
  7. I liked it as well. The first ep of a season usually starts slow to set the tempo for the remainder of the season. Looks like Vince gets his star back on track, but now will have his crew kinda branch out on their own. It should be a great season! Did anyone watch Hung? Pretty bad. Not impressed.
  8. I watched most of the game, I'm not a big soccer fan... but it was nice to watch. I guess I don't really get the offsides rule, if someone would care to explain it to me. Looking forward to the World Cup next year. I hope the USA can be competitive again.
  9. As A huge Diehard Pens fan.... this is AWESOME! Fleury was amazing, and he sometimes isn't amazing on the road. Malkin took over when Zetterberg shut Sid down. Talbot... man, talk about an unsung hero... VERY Much respect to the Wings, an amazing team, so loaded with talent. But I have to admit, I do get much joy out of seeing Hossa denied of hoisting the CUP. Where you gonna go next year, Hossa? Great series, great hockey, great playoffs. Sid... 21 years old and hoisting what is hopefully the first of many Cups! Great job, PENS! YOU GOT THE CUP!!!
  10. Monday night at Miller Park, I'll be sporting my Jack Wilson jersey and Pirates Cap. That usually draws a few heckels. But little do they know how much I support the Brewers too. People in Texas being rude? nah.... who could ever think it???
  11. I'm looking forward to this as I always do. Any predictions? I'm a die hard Pens fan, but don't think they will get past Boston if they run into them. Here's how I see things... and I'm wrong every year. East Finals Boston over New Jersey West Finals San Jose over Detroit Stanley Cup Finals San Jose over Boston in a 7 game thriller. But it would be nice to see Pittsburgh get revenge over Detroit in a rematch from last years's final.
  12. I use the Pirates, and i do hit HR's on a regular swing, usually when I least expect to. I hit a fly ball to right with Freddie Sanchez that must of cleared the wall by an inch, and yesterday, I was playing at Miller Park and hit a 3 run shot with Nate McClouth in the 7th to help me win 3-2. I, also have major probs scoring runs, but I am the Pirates, so I just figure it's realistic.
  13. Word. Ditto. Got 2 outta 3 wrong to start. Oops.
  14. Memphis is making me nervous already... geez...
  15. memphis hasn't played alot of good teams, and I think they will be the first high seed to fall. Marquette prob needs to make the Big east semi's to get a 4 or 5 seed, if they lose early, I can see them getting hosed with a 7 seed. I like Pitt, they are hot, and sometimes a team that gets hot around now goes on a run. I'm looking forward to the tourney... always good stuff.
  16. on the ps3 version he is the top free agent. I signed him, and traded him to the Dodgers. I couldn't find a way to just put him on the dodgers team.
  17. picked it up today for ps3, beat the Cards 1-0 with the Pirates in the opening game. AMAZING game! struck out Ludwig with Capps for the save, and my friend is driving from S. Point just to check it out before I go to work tonight. So much for my social life this spring...
  18. I think that one with the chicken fingers, fries mozza sticks and sauce is called a "Fat Darrell" I remember reading about it in Maxim magazine years ago.
  19. Does anyone remember around 1995-96 hardee's had the Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger? It was on a long type Hogie roll, two patties side by side, lots of cheese and bacon with mayo... Man it was good. My heart thanks me to this day.
  20. I really have liked this season. Vince trying to get his career back is a good angle, the show would get stale if he always was on top. As much as I didn't think season 4 was that great, this season has made up for it. I would like to see Billy Walsh come back, that is just an awesome character. I do like how they keep cycling minor characters in and out. It keeps then fresh. What if I was to tell you that season 6 starts in May? Is that something you might be interested in? I wish I had someone I worked with named Lloyd, just so I could do what Ari does when he's getting angry... "LLOYD!"
  21. 1. Entourage by far, because it's on HBO, it can be allowed to be edgy and vulger and cool. 2. Wings, Roy Biggins, and Brian Hackett, Gold, Tim Daly as the straight man. 3. The Larry Sanders Show, WAY ahead of it's time. Hank was great and Pivan was planting the seeds of Ari Gold. 4. Cheers, With Coach or Woody, still great stuff. I knew a guy that was so Cliff Clavin, it wasn't even funny. But it was funny...because this guy knew everything sometimes... Yet knew nothing. 5. Seinfeld, The middle seasons were the best IMO. Soup Nazi Epi, maybe the best epi of any sitcom ever. 6. Honeymooners - Say what you want, Gleason was awesome, and givin the time it was set in.... amazing some of the things they did. Have a show try getting away with with "One of these days, Alice!" Gleason could make pseudo wife abuse funny. 7. All in the Family, Archie Bunker made my Grandpa laugh like crazy, and he hardly laughed at anything. Maybe that's not a good thing... still a great show, that pushed as much as it could. 8. Three's Company, I think the first show with major sexual themes, and having Ritter play a gay man that was actually straight left alot of doors open for how long the series lasted even with all the cast member changes. 9. Degrassi Junior High (Original Series) Beyond bizarre still to this day. The original drama never intended to be a funny show, but it was so over the top, how could you not laugh??? Oh those funny Canadians... 10. South Park, When those guys are on, they are Gold. But that is only maybe 3 times a season now. Still great stuff. Cartman is an evil person you almost like, that's a hard character to create.
  22. A. Brewers World Series Win (Or Favorite Baseball Team Sub Here) B. Fav NFL Team Super Bowl Win C. "Person" of your Dreams D. You get a 6 show spot on your favorite show of all time. E. World Peace
  23. Johnny Drama
  24. he was about in his 40's I'd say.
  25. At the store today, I went into the checkout aisle, and a guy was just finishing writing out a check for a few items. He then proceeded to balance his checkbook as the checker and I were waiting to run my items through. It look him about three minutes to do so, and he looked oblivious to anyone else. Now I realize this is not a long time, and I wasn't in any hurry, but it seemed to take a month for him to do this. This is something that as Peter Griffin would say "Really grinds my gears." Is it just me? Or is that just a case of poor etiquette? Edit: Title spelling.
