Instead of most movies having the usual happy endings, the trend was to have unhappy endings, or bizarro world endings? How would some classics end? Like the end of Major League, the third baseman jumps the bunt, Taylor is out at first, and Hayes is thrown out at the plate. HarryDoyle yells "The Indians lose! The Indians lose! Oh My God the Indians lose!" and Rene Russo's character marries the yuppie guy. or Karate Kid II Chozen delivers kick after kick to Daniel's head, and finally a death blow as Mr. Miaggi bows his head and a tear comes out his eye. Chozen lifts Daniel up by the head and says "Now I have my Honor back!" the credits roll and Karate Kid III never gets made. Anyone else have some new endings in mind? This was a topic at the bar last week, and my friends and I had fun with it. Always fun to discuss over a few beers.

I went to Best Buy at midnight here in GB. I only had to wait about 10 minutes to get through the checkout line. I have PS2, so I'm still behind the times, but its alot better than last years version, at least my Chargers are awesome, and Gates is pretty much unstoppable. Running the ball is difficult, even with LT, but I'll figure that out as I go. I do enjoy the "Playmaker stick" or "Hit stick" or whatever you want to call it.

It's really bad when a doctor is trying to cash in on something like this. I mean, it's a DOCTOR! So much for trying to help people. As if doctors don't make enough money...But really, what would you expect from the "Plastic" World? I guess the movie Doc Hollywood just could never pan out in real life... sad... Who woulda thunk it? Not I... Sigh...

Good show tonight, I was a little let down that they didn't play "I was wrong" They played almost everything off of "Prison Bound" Solid show, and they ended with Ball and Chain. I'm interested to hear from anyone that goes to the Summerfest show tomorrow.... What they played, ended with... etc...

we keep our 8, usually top tier guys that play very little and chance of injury in a pre-season game is low. Our draft is about two weeks before the season starts. I really don't recall somebody's stud keeper going down because our lists were due too early. Hope that helps.

Another good episode, IMO. Ari was solid again in dealing with the school. Drama freaking out about the party was great as well. I loved Anthony Michael Hall's cameo. Here's a question for all the fans of the show; Medillian, Smash or Trash? I think it'll bomb, leading to Vinny moving in with Drama, and struggling to find work, only to make a comeback in the next season. Just a hunch.

In the League I run, our 8 man keeper date is July 1st. We have defensive players, and the top LB's tend to get protected, making the draft even more fun. I would think that most of your teams would want to know everyone's keepers at least a month in advance. In my case, we do two months, and that works really well.
