  1. Plus it's not nearly as good even when healthy.
  2. I expect extra-loud cheers for 280' flyouts this week.
  3. I don't think this is going to the last series.
  4. It's almost like people shouldn't have used a 10 game sample to come to any conclusions. I'm extremely confident that those folks have learned their lesson though.
  5. Yet I still think the Brewers will win.
  6. 2 of my first 3 were mentioned in CarGo and Mike Felder. Depends what you mean by fast. If it's base stealing, I'd go Molitor or Listach. If it's base running it's Yelich and it's not even close.
  7. Well it definitely wasn't JJ Hardy. What a weird choice. Not even a little fast.
  8. Ok. That number seems about right to me. The reason I say that is that 7.9% seems like about the right chance one of our top 3 pitchers gets hurt. That's the only way they miss in my opinion. And that probably wouldn't do it either.
  9. You don't feel good about their chances now? I sure do.
  10. Extremely unlikely, but yes, possible.
  11. I may or may not have bet Detroit, hence the heart.
  12. Contreras is going to be incredible when he learns which pitches to pull. He's already so damn good. That trade still boggles the mind. I get Oakland has financial issues, but they're also really dumb lately.
  13. Fair points, but they'll have no motivation to win that's all. Trying things they may not otherwise try, etc. I don't think it's a big deal either way, but could factor in.
  14. All true. The only thing I would note is that the Cubs' opponents' winning percentage is pretty heavily skewed by the 3 game Atlanta set in which Atlanta will likely be resting guys/setting up their rotation for the playoffs. I still think the Brewers win the division by 5 games+ and always have. That, of course, is dependent on the team's health, particularly the pitchers.
  15. Holy cow. There's a name from the past
  16. Plus they stink and have stunk all year.
  17. Will the Cardinals win 70 games? I say no.
  18. There are plenty of people here that don't think batting order matters smh. Frelick should be leading off. Enough already
  19. 6 of the top 10 are likely playoff teams. That seems like a change from the past. Scouting and development are at an even bigger premium than ever.
