  1. I personally have no interest in trading any of those guys right now. Offseason? Sure, but not now. In fact, I fully expect Adames and Burnes to be traded this off season. I'd put it at about a 95% chance in both cases barring injury. I have zero interest in an extension with either. And I'm just fine keeping Yelich. Not worth what it would cost to move him. Also, he's easily our best position player.
  2. Apparently Ghostbear isn't into the whole brevity thing.
  3. I thought the derby was terrible, but it may have been better than this game. Great cure for insomnia.
  4. Letson ranked #179 by MLB.com. Seems hard to believe they can sign all these guys.
  5. If they sign all 11 this is a grand slam of a draft. Also, I doubt the Brewers are making any new fans at Ole Miss between Knoth and Pratt.
  6. Pratt would be a huge get. The first scouting report I read was all about how similar he is to Gunnar Henderson. Ummm........yes please. Ranked 45th overall at MLB.com.
  7. I saw Spencer Nivens mentioned above as well. That's another guy I'd love for the Brewers to grab. Huge potential.
  8. Big arm, big power potential. Probably a 3B, simply too tall to be a shortstop probably. This is one of the guys that stood out when I was doing my (somewhat limited) research. Seems like professional coaching will do him a world of good. Definitely a project though imo.
  9. I hate the pick if he's a reliever, but I honestly don't understand why he would be. He certainly seems like he could be a four pitch pitcher based on everything I've read/seen. Intriguing prospect for sure if he can stick as a starter.
  10. There never was any doubt in my mind. They've looked like a borderline 100 loss team all season.
  11. I'm pretty sure Hiura stinks, but he's unlikely to be worse than Winker, so go for it I guess
  12. If the Cardinals win 75 games they should throw a parade.
  13. The reason the Brewers have an 8 1/2 game lead on St Louis with the same run differential is the bullpens. Brewers are far more likely to win close games given that they have the best bullpen in baseball compared to the Cardinals' horrid pen.
  14. Well, they haven't been in the mix at all, so all season seems doubtful.
  15. You and your ridiculous facts.
  16. I have a lot of confidence that the Cardinals suck, as I have all year.
  17. And because the rest of the division stinks. I'll be shocked if the Cardinals win 85 games, but 84 may do it in this division.
  18. True. I'd take 3 WAR happily though.
  19. Over 5 on FanGraphs and pretty close to 5 on BBfref. Nit-picky, but still. At this pace he's a bargain at $26,000,000.
  20. The Cardinals pitching was not in the same realm as the Brewers' preseason. Like not at all.
  21. Cardinals 4.64 ERA 1.48 WHIP .281 BAA Only 18 games but those numbers are uuuuuuugly.
