    Hopefully he's playing 1B sooner than later I'm counting on Mitchell for nothing yet hoping for the best. Having said that, a Frelick/Chourio/Wiemer outfield seems like it'll be pretty good in a year or a little more.

    Yeah, I redid it and your number is right. I had Boeve in there, I just missed a 1 somewhere. That obviously will likely preclude any high-profile 11-20 signings unless those guys take less than $2MM each.

    Rough math is that the Brewers have about $5.75MM left including the 4.99% adder. 7-10 will probably get around 200k of that (I'm guessing). $2MM each for Bitonti and Pratt leaves about $1.5MM for anyone else, which, to me, seems very likely to get a later guy signed. Anyone out there please feel free to point out anything that's wrong here.

    I was thinking this very thing over the weekend. It won't damage the MLB team because Winker. The only reservation would be damaging Black's development, but give it a couple weeks anyway. I doubt you'd destroy his confidence in ~~10 games. The opposite seems much more likely. Having said that, I agree with everyone else that it seems very unlikely that the Brewers would do something like this.
