  1. I eagerly await updates. Oh wait, no I don't.
  2. Pretty much never. Negativity always rules. I imagine if the team was in first place there would be some positivity...........oh wait. Makes reading a blowout-win game thread pretty damn amusing the next day though.
  3. Just imagine how successful the Brewers would've been the last 7 years with a good manager.
  4. 5 walks per inning is definitely too many.
  5. Quero and Blalock. That's it for me.
  6. B B A B + B + Overall, I'm fine. B+. Severino is the only prospect they dealt that I think has any chance to have any impact and I think the odds are pretty small there. They improved the ML team and actually added a couple of interesting minor league arms without giving much up in my opinion. For instance, I'd rather have McKendry and Blalock than Jarvis and Strzelecki, which makes it basically the 3 major league guys for Severino and Urias (at least in my mind), which is pretty good.
  7. I have an irrational love for Luis, but this kid sounds pretty decent. Hope we stay relatively injury free at 3B
  8. Same. I had never used it on any message board until last year here. And I also have used it multiple times.
  9. Yeah, the scary part with Burger is the bb%. You'd think he'd be 3TO, but he's not.
  10. If it can, then yeah, there's value there. My mind immediately goes to injury personally.
  11. Steep price imo. Love it for the Sox.
  12. The important number is the velocity. It's not pretty.
  13. Yeah that one never made sense. Even if you squinted it was tough to see a good pitcher there.
  14. I'm thrilled the Dbacks saw the "value" you're seeing. This is a slam dunk.
  15. And one guy has shown himself to be a hell of a lot better than the other. If the Brewers DFA'd Strzelecki I wouldn't have batted an eye.
  16. Rosenthal has it. Can't believe it. Edit: That's not true, MLBTR is just repeating the other guy.
  17. Look at his numbers from '21 & '22. Then you'll see the point. If he can get back to that guy, he's a great addition. And even if he's the guy he's been this season he's better than Strzelecki. I share your worry about it being more than that though.
  18. Gotta be more than Strzelecki. That's a heist if that's it.
  19. I'd be surprised if it's a top 15 type prospect, but we will find out soon enough.
  20. Chafin was very good in '21 & '22. Walks are up this year though. If the Brewers can fix that, he has the potential to be excellent.
  21. Good pickup pending cost of course
  22. Would definitely be interested in Melendez if we didn't have Contreras. I'm not a Blackburn or Skubal fan. The other two, sure, if the price is right. Cease would cost a TON however.
  23. Was #1 on my wish list as FA wound down. Numbers aren't great but I'd love to get him.
  24. What a horrid take. Your whole "arguing just to argue/contrarian" schtick is getting old.
  25. Never been more comfortable with my decision to put certain posters on ignore. I'm fine with this move. Echo others' thoughts that it's not huge or anything but should help
